About Me
Hi, I’m Megan! As a child, there was always a book in my hands, and ever since I was little, I’ve been captivated by stories. Now, as a senior majoring in English and psychology at Wesleyan University, I’ve found creative ways of bringing my passion for storytelling into my academic and extracurricular pursuits. Whether I’m analyzing data, drafting an outline for a new novel project, or examining historical literature in modern-day contexts, I’m always searching for the underlying narrative behind it all. As a member of my school’s literary magazine, The Lavender, I’ve explored my interest in combining written forms of storytelling with visual design to create cohesive thematic editions of the publication. After Wesleyan, I hope to enter the communications industry and one day become a creative director—where I can oversee advertising campaigns and craft a distinct story for brands every day.
In my free time, you’ll find me trying new foods with my friends and playing tennis with my family. Of course, I can still be spotted with a good book in my hands on most days as well. Ever since I picked them up as a kid, I can’t seem to set them down for too long.
